A Fashion Night in Black & White Raises More Than $96K for Dress for Success SW Florida
Annual event featured Donna Noce, President of White House Black Market, as keynote speaker
Dress for Success SW Florida raised more than $96K at a successful and exciting annual signature event, A Fashion Night in Black & White. The fundraiser was held on Friday, May 12, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Hyatt Regency Coconut Point Resort and Spa in Bonita Springs, Florida. Donne Noce, President of White House Black Market, delivered the keynote address. Noce is the Founding Board President of Dress for Success SW Florida and has been an integral part of the nonprofit since its inception. The evening included hors d’oeuvres, champagne, dinner, live and silent auctions, and a fashion show preview of the White House Black Market (WHBM) summer collection. Guests wore their finest black and white cocktail attire. The record breaking $96K raised is a significant increase from last year.
The theme of the evening was “Never Give Up.” In a personal and heartwarming keynote address, Ms. Noce shared her own journey and the importance of empowering and encouraging women, which is central to the Dress for Success mission.
The White House Black Market fashion show was a highlight of the evening. In a fun and high energy presentation, Dress for Success SW Florida women who were styled at a local White House Black Market boutique were introduced and got to show off the summer collection as well as their personalities. WHBM donated the outfits to the women who modeled them for their personal and professional needs.
Barbara Dell, CEO of Dress for Success SW Florida, said, “What fun and inspiration all in one package. Dress for Success had its best ever ‘A Fashion Night in Black & White’ raising over $96,000. This is the fifth annual event and every year there is always something new and special. This year we had a fabulous keynote speaker, White House Black Market President, Donna Noce, along with a WHBM fashion show! The models? They were our Dress for Success women and what a super job they did on the runway. What a night!”
